Day city tour of Almaty
Almaty
The largest metropolis of the country.

Almaty is translated as the apple city.
(We will tell you more about this on the tour)

Almaty is the financial, scientific, cultural, economic, historical and production center of Kazakhstan.
Almaty is located in the southeast of Kazakhstan, at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau.
The modern city began on February 4, 1854, when the Russian government decided to build a military fortification on the left bank of the Malaya Almatinka River.

On February 5, 1921, the city of Verny was renamed Alma-Ata after the old name of this area. After 6 years, Alma-Ata became the capital of the Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1993, the city was renamed Almaty.
